Research Scientist, Cellular Modeling

About the role

The Bio Group treats the cell as a learnable system. You will build models that predict cellular response to perturbation and work directly with experimentalists to close the loop.

What you'll do

• 01Develop models of temporal cellular behaviour from imaging data.
• 02Design in-silico perturbation search over cellular state.
• 03Partner with wet-lab scientists to validate predictions.
• 04Scale training pipelines on the shared substrate.

What we look for

• ◇PhD in computational biology, ML, or a related field.
• ◇Experience with high-dimensional biological data.
• ◇Fluency translating between model and experiment.
• ◇Comfort with ambiguity at the edge of biology and ML.
